Diabetic Foot Ulcers for Healthcare Assistants

General public awareness of diabetes has grown in recent years, thanks in part to the warnings about childhood obesity and its relationship to diabetes. Caregivers involved with long-term-care residents are already familiar with diabetes mellitus and its consequences. Unless lifestyle changes occur, it is likely we will continue to see an increase in diabetes in our elderly patients. This course is designed to help you assess, treat, and prevent diabetic foot ulcers.
